So Christmas day was the best!

Woke up and did the traditional stocking opening with my mum and dad and then moved on to the big presents and I got really spoiled this year after assuming it would be a tame one... I couldn't have been more wrong. I will post pictures here at a later point.

We started to drink at 9 in the morning and had plenty more drink and food throughout the day. Tamsin came round at one and we had our Christmas dinner, which was amazing. My mum and dad then went to pick up Dan and Abi and then we all opened presents for each other around the tree. They all got me some of the most amazing presents! I was so over-whelmed. I think they all enjoyed theirs too :) We carried on drinking and then Lloyd and Ben came round and we played Friends Scene it, which Tamsin and I won, and then everyone left at some point and me and Dan watched The Hills Finale, which sadly enough, had me in COMPLETE TEARS. Then we watched Home Alone to finish a wonderful Christmas day :)

Today I am at Dan's house for Christmas day part two.
More food and drink.
We're also watching Home Alone two.
YAY.

On a lighter note

My life is going pretty smoothly right now. Apart from having to work River Island and Oceana twice a week I am enjoying Brighton a lot more than I was a couple of months ago. Surrounding myself with only people I really care about and avoiding drama of all sorts, makes Brighton a lot more livable.

I've calmed down a lot recently too, not loads of going out but nice evenings in with Dan and a good series/movie, which I'm finding a lot more enjoyable right now. I love this build up to Christmas, it's the best staying in weather. I also like Christmas because it means everyone comes home! It's been so good seeing everyone who has come back.

I'm having quite a heavy London withdrawl at the minute, I miss the people and evenings there but hopefully there will be plenty more over Christmas/when everyone returns. I'm so low on funds too, due to my extreme Christmas shopping addiction that seems to have gone into overdrive this year, but hopefully the new year will bring more dosh which means seeing more people I haven't seen in a while.

I'm still applying to Uni which seems to take forever and haven't even started my personal statement yet. It's one of those things that stresses me out but that I can never bring myself to do for some reason. I really hope I DO get round to doing it though because Ellie has pretty much set us up with a sweet flat on Brick Lane next year, for cheap too. So that should pretty much be a massive incentive for me... COME ON AIMI.

I guess I should get ready for work tonight. Boring. While everyone else goes to JT's last ever show tonight. Have fun.

There are a few of things I miss.

Hungover Tuesdays

I feel a little like death today but last night was another mental Monday. I'm in the mood for detail so enjoy (or not.) Every Monday consists of Deep Bar and Ponana but it never fails to be a fun night. Last night Abi and I downed vodka while she watched me dance to Sinatra Christmas songs and then we danced all the way to Deep Bar to meet people. After a drink and a half of £1.50 goodness (half of the last one I had to give away because I had definitely gone beyond my limit) we headed to Ponana. I went a bit crazy with the dancing (apoligies to everyone whose drinks I spilt) and then Ellie, Fleur, Ines and Josh showed up which tipped me over the edge with excitement and also Ellie's debit card that was not needed in the slightest but used to full extent at the bar. THANK YOU.

I definitely fell over too many times last night, they should make the floor less slippery God damn it. I made sure Abi came down with me at one point though.

I barely remember getting home and I woke up, drunk, to be faced with Tamsin and Croissants in my kitchen which was a wonderful surprise.

Now I shall tend to my eroded liver with some well needed water and paracetomol.
I hope you enjoyed my first blog.
